Who is responsible

Visit statistics

This site counts visits with Swetrix, running on our own server and reached only through this domain. It sets no cookies and builds no profile across sites. What is recorded per visit: the page viewed, the referring site, screen size, browser and operating system family, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. The IP address itself is not stored — Swetrix hashes it together with a rotating salt to tell one visit from another, and the hash cannot be traced back to you once the salt rolls over.

One detail, for completeness: the small tracking script is published by Swetrix rather than written by us, and our server fetches it from them and re-serves it from this domain. Your browser never contacts Swetrix — it asks this origin for everything, and the counting happens on our machine.

Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) in knowing whether anyone reads this. Because no cookie or similar storage is placed on your device and no personal data is retained, there is nothing to consent to, which is why there is no banner.

The waitlist

If you enter an email address, it is stored in listmonk, open-source mailing list software running on our own server in Germany (Hetzner, Falkenstein — acting as our hosting processor within the EU), together with the date you signed up and the fact that you came from this page. It is not handed to a mailing-list company. The only third party that touches it is Resend, which carries the message from our server to your inbox and sends from inside the EU (Ireland). Replies to us are forwarded by Cloudflare, which is how a message to hello@prodpeek.io reaches a person.

There is no confirmation step: submitting the form puts you on the list, because asking someone to prove twice that they meant it is friction we would rather not charge you. The address is used for exactly two things: telling you when Prodpeek's alpha opens, and occasional writing about building it. It is never sold, rented, or passed to anyone else. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe; unsubscribing removes you from the list and deletes the record, and asking does the same thing at any point before that. Nothing is kept once you are gone.

Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), given by submitting the form, withdrawable at any time without giving a reason and without being asked for one.

Server logs

The web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, page, user agent) for operational and security purposes, on our own machine, and rotates them within 14 days.

What we do not do

• No advertising or tracking pixels, and no third-party analytics.
• No cookies of any kind — none from us, none from anyone else.
• No profiling, no automated decisions, no selling data.
• The only external requests this page makes are for the Inter typeface from Google Fonts.

Your rights

Access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and a copy of your data in a portable format. Email the address above and you will get an answer from a person. If that answer is unsatisfactory you can complain to Datatilsynet, the Danish Data Protection Agency.
